Climate control problems still!!
My X's climate control acts like it has no idea what temp the engine block is when set on auto. In cold weather or anytime you have it set for warmer out put than ambient temp, fan/blower starts blowing right away when engine is started stone cold. The bigger the temp differance the higher the fan/blower speed. Have seen it one led line from full high already when hit the manual fan up/down to see visually where it is. Had it to the local dealer three times for a total of over eight (ya 8!!) weeks! They replaced the control panel, a block sensor, and some control unit in the dash and it made no diff. They supposedly had ford rep involved but to this day they claim they have no idea what to do. Blower on high I know is not the end of the world. But on a cold winter day in MT it's nice to know when you hit the after market stater that you paid dearly for that your not pumping cold air on the high fan setting through out the rig making it even colder. Any thoughts??
