i need help
You may need and after market Automatic Transmission Controler. They are fully programable, and can run in the $700 range. Other than that you would need all the wire harness and ecu from what ever vehicle the transmission came from, and all the proper sensors connected to your engine. All that hassel makes the after market controller look cheap.
Heres a link to one controller

If the truck that the tranny and computer came out of had the same engine as yours it should be a straight swap in. You can probably get away with mixing 302/351. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
If you're going carb with your swap then yes, you'll need a controller and I'd bet you can get an AOD cheaper than a controller

The cross member maybe the same for the 4spd but that 4spd is alot shorter than the C6. The frame should have the holes further back already pre drilled from the factory. If it doesnt work, a crossmember from a C6 or AOD truck will work for yours.
alright here is what i have done so far got the tranny in its all set up now i need to get the motor mount towers so i can put the 351 in and wire it up and i also need to get a new c clip and speedo gears (know one has them ) for the transfer case. does any one know where i can get the speedo gears ?? and a cheap set of headers ??
