Hey,
I have a 1990 Bronco II, with a cassette deck out of a 1992 Aerostar. It seems to be all right, but, there doesn't seem to be any output to the right speakers, which wasn't a problem in the Aerostar, nor in the B2. I don't know what could be causing it. Also, the radio seems to be stuck in 'scan' mode, and I can't get it to stay on any one station. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks a bunch, and I hope you can help me solve these most infuriating problems.
have you tried the balance and fader? Maybe your wires are grounding out or contacting each other somewhere. if you have another deck, then you could(if you have time) try putting it in. You may also just have a bad connection somewhere. But personally I would upgrade to a cheap after market deck and speakers, even second hand items are better than stock. You may not feel the same way about it, but that was just my opinion.
Yeah, I checked the fader. That's not it. I'm going to check the wiring tomorrow, when it's not so dark. Any way to stop the random changing of the radio station?
