Next: Does Florida have a "limited Masters" like Maine does? As soon as I got my JM, I went and took the test for my LM/residential. Only 4000 hours are required for that license here.
Right on man thats awesome! i have had my first year for a couple of years now, didnt want to hold out on the low apprentice wage till I became a journeyman, but right on for you!
Thx fellas, Florida requires alot more to have a limited masters: 2yrs as journeyman, bunch of cash in the bank, masters test plus business test. We'll see I'm on my way. Ironically enough no pay raise in my future, but I might be new job hunting
Congrats on the license Benny. Putting some feelers out for a new job won't hurt. If you really like where you're at, you might even give them the chance to match any better offers you receive.
Just remember to check the new company out and make sure it's not the type that adds on a bunch of workers to complete a big job, then lays a bunch of them off. It's also nice to work somewhere that the check clears the bank every week. Good luck.
