looking to get a pillar gauge pod with 3,one of them may be air/fuel which requires narrow band oxygen sensors...does a 92 f150 iL300-4.9L 4x4 have this feature or not?also would this gauge be of any use or importance?,just need to fill that third space.ha.what would be a good third gauge to go with?
planning on going with vacuum, water temp.,air/fuel...
what gauges would you guys suggest i go with?
my options are...
voltage-have in stock cluster
air/fuel
oil temperature
oil pressure
water temperature -have in stock cluster
vacuum pressure
tachometer -have in stock cluster
trans temperature
fuel pressure
You're not going to be able to change the air fuel ratio, so your gauge will mainly just be something flashy to distract you from driving. I would monitor oil pressure (since the stock gauge is merely an on-off pressure switch) and water temperature for sure, then for the third I would suggest oil temperature or transmission temperature if you do a lot of towing or heavy hauling, or vacuum if you do a lot of empty driving and want a way to monitor engine load to assist with maximizing fuel economy.
These r good guages
Vacuum and air mix .. These ones listed will keep better tabs on things . The oil presure in stoke dash r not the best . The temp water guage is not to bad .
Trans temp (for the e4od ) Is almost a must . Same with oil temp and presure.
