Computer on a '93?

I have a 1993 F-150 with the 4.9L. It's been running rough, and I am wondering if it has a computer hook-up to read codes, and if so, where is it located and what kind of connection do I need for it. It doesn't appear to have the regular connection under the driver's dashboard.
Any help is appreciated.

Should find it very near the drivers side hood hinge, behind it.

Here is another website that explains how to pull codes and has a diagram of how to count the flashes. Just leave out the analog voltmeter or test light and watch your check engine light in the dash. Fordfuelinjection.com says to run the STI to body or battery ground, but all you need to do is jumper from the STI wire to the SIGRTN wire with something as simple as a paper clip.
