My 1954 F100/F250 4x4 Build

That should keep the sparks flying for a few minutes. I have to get myself motivated to get back on my 63. Kind of been playing with the 65 just driving and enjoying it. Your right it doesnt look like much for 700lbs.

I need to start the sparks flying first!
For some reason the weight starts adding up when you are dealing with large pieces of 10 gauge steel, 3/16" plate. And also some 1/4" plate & 1/2" plate. That sheet of diamond plate is 106 pounds by itself.
I also finally picked up the 54 parts truck out of storage. I'll unload it tomorrow.

I finally got the 54 parts truck tore down.
I need to take care of one other vehicle then I'm going to start stretching the cab.
Here's what's left of the 54 parts truck cab. I also kept the front door jambs with hinge pockets, the dash and the cowl vent area.
The cab had more rust then I thought it did. Luckily, like this area at the front of the roof, most of it is/was in areas I don't need.
And I now also have another pair of doors to mess with. I think I've got 8 doors now.

Thats what I was thinkin too. Keep it up you are motivating or shamein me into getting going again on my 63. Ive been slacking all summer. Got a classic Ford truck show to attend this weekend with the 65 then back to work on the 63.

At least you've got a good excuse for not working on your 63!! You've got a cool 65 that needs driving!
I've just been scrapping other vehicles to try and make some money to sink into the 54 parts.

I didn't get any work done on the 54 this past year. But I did pick up some more parts for it.
I picked up three Autolite 2100 1.02 2V carbs for the 300. I'm going to run these while the engine is in it's naturally aspirated form. I'm going to switch over to Holley 350 cfm 2V's when I set it up with the supercharger & E85.
I picked up a pair of new Explorer rear calipers.
I got a Boost/Vacuum gauge to replace the straight vacuum gauge. I knew I should of got this one to begin with. But I'll use the vacuum gauge in my E350.
I picked up three covers for my master cylinders.
I got some jam nuts for my brake fittings and a couple caliper adapter fittings.
For some reason I also ordered some of the front clip hardware and trim parts I need. Good thing I'm getting the parts I need in the correct order!!
I ordered some fittings and hardware for my hydraulic clutch system.
And I scored big time for Christmas. I got all the remaining fittings I needed for my brake system. I also got some stainless steel line clamps. I still need a lot of parts for the brake system ( $1300 worth! ) but this helped a lot.

I think the worse thing I did was make a database list of all the parts I need.
With my stock 300 with just the custom intake and Headers I'm going to build I'm looking at another $12,000-$15,000 in parts. It's surprising how quickly little parts add up.
That get's it drivable.
The supercharged engine build adds another $5000 to that. I figure I'll get it on the road with the fairly stock 300. That way I'll be able to drive it and enjoy it while I'm building the beast of an engine for it.

I'm allergic to fuel injection! My set up is going to be complicated enough with carbs. I want to stay away from all the sensors, wiring and the computer!! When it comes to computers I'm a complete idiot!! And sometimes I'm an idiot period!!
If you are going megasquirt why go tbi? Why not go multiport? That would give you the best performance and you can still go with 3 TB's to get the look you want. You could also just run a stock 300 efi lower intake. Then just make a simple plenum box to mount how ever many throttle bodies you want to run.
