Bad Audio Sound?
I have a brand new 2001 F250 CC short box purchased 4 months ago. It came with the 6 disc CD changer. The problem that I am having is since I bought this truck I've noticed that the speakers on the passenger side are much louder than the drivers side. I took it to FORD to have them looked at and they told me that they tested the speakers and everything checked out. But, I still think that it doesn't sound right. I even tried messing with the balance and other settings but still no improvement. It definatly doesn't sound like a premium system. Has anyone else seen this problem on their FORD?

If it louder on one side, the amp or cd player is to blame. Demand the dealer to fix it. Or try another dealer. Although the premium sound is really just a stock system, it should sound the same out of all speakers.

try this check out your audio wires going to the speakers from the stereo (this happened in my bronco) make sure that the groung wires are not crossed i.e. ground front left connected to front right speaker and so on. in my bronco they were criss crossed and i had to fix it........ somthing to try
