My next door neighbor just bought one, he ordered it a year ago and said the entire years output has been presold.
These have been sold in Europe for at least 10 years, I first saw them in Paris in 1999.

there is a video on youtube. its a front crash into a concrete barrier at 70 mph. the front was destroyed. but the passenger compartment did excelent. they even walked up to the car and the door opened and closed and even latched. the bad thing is even though the car did well, i think the 70 to 0mph sudden stop would have killed anyone in the car. or at least major internal damage. i think its highly rated all around.
THEY ALWAYS SHOW YOU THE FRONT CRASH TEST, BUY HOW DO YOU THINK THAT TIN CAN WILL DO WHEN HE RUNS A RED LIGHT AND GETS T-BONED BY A FORD EXCURSION OR ANY SUV/PICK UP? MY FAMILY WILL NEVER BE IN ONE OF THOSE THINGS.
