Quick Help?
In addition to my "new to me" personal 2005 F250, I drive a college group around in a F450 mini bus with the same 6.0 engine.
Last week while driving Charlotte to Charleston, it sounded like a jet was reving the engine up and down over and over.
Also seemed to have no acceleration power in 1 & 2nd gear and would actually sputter when slowing down before coming to complete stop or making a turn.
Now at the dealership - they can't get it to do either.
Anyone have an idea where to start?
Last week while driving Charlotte to Charleston, it sounded like a jet was reving the engine up and down over and over.

Maybe like the blow off valve being stuck open or a hose clamp is failing.? The Turbo's pressure isn't getting to the engine, so it will kill power and make a whooosshing sound. Just an idea.
