Entered the Casselberry Car Show last month and finished third out of 61 cars open class. Was surprised as there was some stiff competition, first place was a beautiful 32 Ford probably worth 100k, second was a 40 Dodge also big bucks. So I took third and was thrilled.
This past Saturday I enetered the Loft Show and Shine Car Show at Uptown Altamonte and of about 40 cars and trucks all models all years I was awarded Best Of Show. There was everything from GTO's ,Vettes, Acura NSX, etc. was judged by year. When I started my build wasn't planning to build a show truck but have to say the recognition for all the hard work is pretty cool. So thanks again to all the guys that answered my goofy questions over the past couple of years. FTE is a great place for questions and answers, and sometimes moral support.
There you go.... You paint your truck and now your taking all the trophies. All I can say is Way to go!. It's tough competing against the big buck toys, and your giving them a run for their money. I'd give you a win, just because I know you did the work yourself. I'd take it away for all the goofy questions you asked on FTE . Just kidding! Gotta say Joe, the truck is looking tight. Time to add a room to the house for all those trophies you'll be getting... Congrats!
