Intake

Well finally taking the plunge to do add some goodies to the Expy that aren't just cosmetic.

Tomorrow or the next day I'm getting a cat-back system w/dual exits. They will exit like the stock one but have one on both sides.

Also I just ordered a K&N 57-2541 FIPK intake.
Question is are there any snags for doing this install myself??

Thank you guys very much

The install is really easy for both, the only thing with the exhaust is removing the stock head pipe that was a PITA other that its really easy. What kinda exhaust did you get? I have a Gibson Stainless cat back dual exhaust on mine sounds really good, and for the intake I have AFE Pro-Dry, seems to work great.

The exhaust is a cat back Flowmaster 50 series muffler, with dual exiting pipes and rolled tips. Sounds great!
If your on it, it sounds very aggresive and when your cruising you almost can't hear it.
Exactly what I wanted. I didn't want it to sound like a truck but wanted it to sound like there was a rumble and its exactly what I got.

The intake is a K&N FIPK 57 series that will arrive tomorrow. Can't wait to have the intake and the exhaust. It seems like the intake shouldn't be to much trouble. Looks like 1 screw on the tube and then most of it should come off plus there is the 1 sensor. Outside of that it seems pretty straight forward.
