my 94 f150 302 has been missing but above 2000 rpm it seems ok.... i changed plugs plug wires cap and rotor but it didnt change a thing so i had the codes pulled and got code 332 which says egr did not open.... would that be causing it to miss
Certainly would. Check the whole EGR system for vacuum leaks, a stuck valve, and sensor problems. This site.. Ford Fuel Injection has lots of good info on the sensors.
Most likely a vacuum leak. The hard plastic vacuum lines, usually black or red, crack easily with age. Don't forget to check the section of lines that runs behind the intake plenum.
I would go ahead and replace all plastic vacuum lines with rubber vaccum hose with the proper tee's and fittings. You'll probably end up cracking the lines anyway while you're fumbling around in there.
Now i did say "most likely", so you might want to check to make sure your egr valve is working first. Good luck
