I had a pair of 15 inch pyramids and they were ok to start out my sound system with. But after a couple of years I bought a pair of 10 RFs and they are so much better. Hope this helps.

Pyramids are kind of like going to Radio Shack and buying some of their low brand speakers. You get what you pay for (in most cases). I personally would not own any. Waste of $$$. They not realiable, cheaply made, and will not last very long. I would save a few money dollars and get a brand that will be reliable for you, depending on how far you want to take your system.
if ur looking for a good brand thats not as costly as you would think is kenwood. i have a kenwood reciever($200) includes set up for remote($30 for remote) front AND REAR rca preouts, 45w*4, cd-r/rw, and cd changer ready. i have a 250 watt ($160w/ 350 watt install kit) kenwwod amp driving a single pioner from walmart, and everyone thinks i have a bigger amp and a couple of subs.
there tweetors are very pricy i think($70) i bought a pair from radio shack for $15 and they work great!!
pyramids go along with american legacy, they suck. jensen is a little better. i dont know about the speakers but the amps they make are just a bunch of distorted bass, doesnt sound clean at all. if you want a high quality system that hits clean invest in some memphis amps and some kicker vrs. vrs are badass this year.
Don't waste your money. A good set of speaker at a reasonable price are the MTX, they sound great and will handle a lot of power. check out www.crutchfield.com
