ok this is my story, i h ave a 93 f-150 with 2 pioneer 12's from wal-mart(they sound great for the price, highly recommend them). a jensen 400w amp(no problems so far, i bought it for $50 off my buddy), jensen headunit (no problems with that so far besides the fact that the face is hard to read during the day), and replaced the factory speakers with pioneers(again dam good sound, highly recommend them). my 1st question is i was reading on how sucky jensen amps are, what are the common problems with em, 2nd is i am ordering 2 infinity kappas in the near future for my truck and wanna know what kinda amp to get(there 300w rms, 1200w peak)or considering the pioneer vccs(undecided on them), my buddy said go with xplod, but they suck, their whole line of products suck. i was thinking a jbl sub 600w amp, or a rf punch 500.2 or 600.4(im undecided, rf is expensive tho). my current system sounds great now, just lookin for more deep bass. i would like some opinions on which to get and please no jl, i dislike them.
hey,
I personally am a HUGE fan of anything Infinity makes. for a while all i had in my 79 F-100 with 2 Infinity 6 1/2's in the doors and it was louder than I needed, had to replace one door panel it actually cracked from the vibrations, so im willing to put money on the quality of their subs. just my opinion

I have the Jensen 400 watt amp, too. It has held up a whole lot better than I expected it to--I put that thing through hell and it still plays fine. In my '86, it rattles the glass in the top pushing my two Polk Audio 10s.
