So far its alright, been under a Tornado Warning/Watch for most of it so far. Looks as if the worst of it has blown past though. Although I did start working a day early this week so technically its Saturday for me now.

Same here.
I took a half day of vacation yesterday and was driving home, minding my own business.
Looked in the rear-view mirror. . . Maryland State Police (MSP) coming up FAST, lights and siren wailing!!!!!!!!
I took a quick look at the speedometer. O.K. 60 mph in a 55 mph zone.
I pull to the right to give him the right-of-way. . . he pulls in behind me.
O.K. I pull off the road, he pulls in behind me.
Now, please note. . .there was a dump truck in front of me PULLING AWAY FAST. He had to be doing 70 to 75 mph.
The State Trooper comes up to my driver's window, and says (in a thick foreign accent, btw), "Sir, you are being recorded on video equipment. I clocked you on radar doing 73 mph."
"Huh??? Me. . . no sir. I looked at my speedometer when I noticed you behind me, and I was doing no more than 60. Not 70+. You have me mistaken for that dump truck that is going away from here at a rapid rate."
"Sir. Driver's license and registration, please. Now."
Long story short. The 12th was not my day.
$70.00 fine and 2 points on my license, IF I don't take it to court.
IF I go to court, there's a day's pay (over $250.00) and possibly the fine and points, anyway.
My wife said to pay it and shut up.

Friday the 13th is just another day for me, too... never had any particular bad luck associated with it.
If I'd managed to put off being born for another week, I would have had a Friday the 13th birthday once in awhile. I suppose that might have been an unlucky day for my mother...
