New guy
Hey fellow Ford folks. My name is John Smith ( yea its my real name.....hold the Pocahantas jokes please] I just purchaced a 1953 F-100 Panel truck. It's been 25 years since I messed with mechanicals, never owned a FLATHEAD. It Runs rough, seems to shift OK, Wiring is a mess, body is decent. leak in gas tank, needs shocks ect. I am hoping to make this old truck run decent again. Not looking to do big time resto but who knows. my confidence level is low but mama didnt raise no dummy. I will need a lot of guidence....so thats why I am here. I love this old truck. I am a Custom Kitchen Installer/general contractor by day and an accomplished Blues guitarist by night and I bought this baby to be my Bluesmobile. I hope to eventually be an asset to the group.
