Alternator Noise
OK Guys, Here is a low-tech question. I put a stock AM radio into my '66 F100. It never had a radio before. I get alot of "whine" what increases with engine speed. How and where do I need to install some sort of capacitor to eliminate the radio interferance?

Alternator Noise
If you take the radio out and find the ground wire (usually black), you may need to replace that. Noise is almost always due to a grounding problem. If you can splice a slightly bigger wire into the ground wire and find a bolt or something to hook it up to. That should solve the problem.
