Size DD

I have a 98 Ranger with the double din mount, It craped out and have had no luck finding a double din replacement for it. I live in a small town and will need to order one on line as here if walmart don't have it you cant get IT!

Are you looking for another factory head unit, or an upgrade like Alpine or something?

I would like to upgrade but do not find any size DD, Unless someone has a factory unit laying around

Check with Crutchfield (http://www.crutchfield.com) for a double-DIN unit. If anyone has one available, they will.:-)

You can also purchase an installation "kit" that will allow you to use a standard DIN stereo. The ones I've seen normally run around $15-20, and look good...not like some Mickey Mouse install.

I know Alpine, Kenwood, and Pioneer still make the double dins. I run an Alpine and love it. I run an Alpine double din in my X.

If you are just wanting a factory head unit, I do have one, would just have to know if your wiring harness is the same for the radio I have.

Well first thanks for the help, I found an adapter setup for double din to reg din and it gives you a shelf under your radio and I think I will mount my CB in the slot for a built in setup.
