Tow/haul button doesn't work

I have to wiggle my shifter around to get the tow/haul button to turn on and off.

What part do I need to be looking at replacing?

You need to replace the entire shift lever. I had the same problem. The cord for the tow haul button has prob chafed over time and could be grounding out or completely disconnected. Easy fix.

I replaced the plugin module and put another endcap on and everything is fine.
