My ford f150
Hey guys first post here just thought I would post some photo's of what my project looks like. It an 1976 ford F150 4x4 with a 390 that I picked up for $500. it Has alot of work to be done to it. the bed is rusted to the bone got lucky and found a rust free bed with two sets of doors (so I have an extra set looking to make some money back on 
) already had to replace most of the lines under the hood. As of yet still can't get the head lights going. (when I got the truck only the front parking light worked) sometimes I just go out there and look at it thinking where to start now lol.
anyways ill be up dating the pic's as I go along wish me luck.

On sale day, 360's magically become 390's. In your trucks case, if it has a 390 engine, it was swapped in.
No 390 engines were factory installed in 1973/76 F100/250 4WD's.
The engines available with 4WD 1973/76 were the 240 (1973/74 only) or 300 I-6, or the 360 2V.
The 4th digit of the VIN is the engine code: A = 240 / B = 300 / Y = 360.
Measure the stroke. The 360 is 3.50" / 390 is 3.78"
