1968 Merc M250 Diff

I've found someone who is parting out a 68 M250, I was thinking of the diff and rims. I'm hoping its the same Dana 60 that the 68 F250 had. Can anyone confirm that? Is there anything else that would be good to grab, while I'm at it?

Should be the same Dana 60 for both if original. There's two ways to ID it.

The Dana 60 ID tag is bolted to the left axle tube adjacent to the inspection cover, and is composed of 7 digits similar to this: 603010-1. Post what it is, I'll decode it.

The AXLE code is on the Warranty Plate. which is located on the left door face below the latch. Post that code, too.

It might be a while before I can get to it. It's rained 5'' in five days and rain is in the forcast for the next 2 days. The guy who has the truck, said its out in his back forty and impossible to get to right now.
