auto locking hubs
Learned a great lesson about the OEM auto locking hubs in the ford series SDs. They are pure JUNK! At nearly $400 per side for these I have changed to the best hub kit WARN makes #38826. The only thing they don't do is auto lock which most of the time in cold weather never worked anyway. I lock them in the winter and freewheel when not in use. These hubs Ford came out with and the system is absolute crap! WARN cost me $198.90 and the best they make................

Mine are eight years old, and work like new!
I occasionally put in a little maintenance, and I get to have "on-the-fly" as a result.
I like that feature, and though I don't call on it very often, it's always there when I do.
