rust spots on chrome bumpers
Hey everyone,
I have a 2000 f150 and have had it less than a year and have already started getting rust spots on the bumpers. My father has had the same problem and the dealer put new bumpers on for him. I am going to take mine in for a number of problems and will let you know if mine are replaced. Check your bumpers for the same. I also have the door crack, bubbles in mine paint on the bed, rust on the front edge of my hood, paint missing where they shut the doors on my truck before the paint dried, and the one inch radiator instead of the two inch that was suppose to come with my class III towing package. I think ford is starting to cut a few to many corners. But I'm still a blue oval man. Hope ford gets back to building QUALITY trucks soon.

rust spots on chrome bumpers
Exact same problem... Cept it showed up 4 months after I bought it.... I told the dealer when I bought it that I didn't want chrome bumpers, and they insisted that they mostly come like that these days, and they are fine.... 4 months later, rust.... Don't worry tho... It is not very bad right now, I will let it go as far as I can, then before warranty runs out, I am going to get them to replace them.
