I`ve been watching this guy trying to sell his 88 Gand Marquis with only 138000 org kms on it. He started out at almost $4,000 and now the price is down to only $1,650.00 and it looks mint!
As much as I don`t need really one I love these cars and it`s starting to hurt pretty bad in wanting to see it.
You all know what will happen then.....
I`d really like this car but I have the low mileage Lincoln sitting here waiting for next winter when I`ll be using it. It`s almost worth it just for the 5.0/auto od power train alone.
Would be sweet to buy the Marquis and have the price of fuel come down but that`s real wishful thinking....
You should own it so it can live the rest of its' life in the lap of luxury.
Someone else will just abuse it.
I have to convince my "better half" that there is an Excursion out there that need this same kind of attention. I am still in the "butter her up stage", so I have to pay her some special attention at the moment!
That is a great price, but all the less fuel efficient vehicals are coming down in price!!! Which is a good thing if your in the market for a truck/suv!
Well just on another note boss.............
I have been trying to sell my 59 F100 since spring without any success, this would maybe be closer to your interests and it should make you toss and turn at night knowing this nice little truck might fall into the wrong hands
It`s a sweet one no doubt there Shaune but I think you should definitely keep it as you`ll miss it when it`s gone.
And I`m up to my ears in neat old Ford/Mercury pick ups, a 53 M100 resto rod/unfinished, a 56 M100 stock/still in many parts, an original 53 M350/ex farm grain truck, a decent 56 F350 dually and a mint original 57 F350. Only 2 Mustangs, a 65 and the 67 fastbacks (the 83 convert is for sale) so I need to balance things out abit.
Dropping into this year`s Super Run?
Im with Ryan on this one. Those GM are a dime a dozen, and with the fuel going up higher day by day, you will probably be able to get a newer one for the same price.
Personally I wouldnt bother unless I came across one for really cheap as a donor vehicle for the drivetrain. They are way to grandma/grandpaish for me!
Today`s econ plastic cookie cutter disposible cars are of absolutely no interest to me.
At 138,xxx kms the 5.0 power train is worth the asking price.
The 66 Mustang convertible didn`t pan out.
