Question Brake line question

So did not get to take a picture of the brake lines to explain better, but am curious, the two brake lines coming out of the master cylinder and going down I beleive to the proportioning valve are looking kind of rusty on my 1977 F-250 super cab, long box.
So the question is, do they need to be formed in about three coils in a circle for vibration, or can I replace them by just making them run straight down to the valve, seems like an awful lot of bending to make the circles then run them down, figure maybe I can just curve them down without the fancy shapes, any idea if it is required?

wrap them around a pipe, or unopened popcan.

but it should be fine without the coils. would prob last longer then the truck itself....

I do have a snap on bender and flaring kit, but seemed like a lot of bends for nothing, maybe one circle, but not three or so in each line.

Thanks for the reply.

Put in at least one bend - whether a "circle" or a "zig zag" for expansion purposes. Three "circles" seems excessive.
