Well anyway........ In case you were wonderin'....... X-rays have now said that no ribs were broken, but they sure do still hurt. I got a free Conn Organ (Can't beat free!) and brought it home on a trailer. I wouldn't take it off till I made sure it worked (575#) so at 10:30 PM, I went out to put a tarp over it. All was going great, till I missed seeing the trailer tongue in the shadows and went straight over it, landing on my....... Head, Knee, and putting my elbow into my own ribs! On the driveway! Felt like I broke my whole body, and knocked the wind out of me at the same time. I got my wind back, got up, (after a while) and thought I'd beaten the odds once more. Ha-Ha, laugh is on me. Two hours later when I went to go to bed, I could hardly move.. A week later, I went and had x-rays, must be the x-rays hurtin' if there aren't any broken ribs, sure feels like it. Anyway, that's my story, and I'm stickin' to it........... OH Yeah, anyone want an organ that works, mostly?

Those trailer tongues can be killers George.
I was walking thru the shop today and one of the other techs left his creeper
in front of a motorhome. I tried to kick it under and out of my way. Well it must have
hit the tire or something and came back out just as I was putting my foot down. Fell
and hit the concrete floor square on my left elbow all 205 lbs of me.
Couldn't move it for a while but iced it down and went and had it xrayed.
They didn't see anything broke just baddly bruised. Can't go back to work until Monday
Also have 3 big welts on my leg I just found from all the change I had in my pocket.

Yes, I am. I do residential work 99% of the time. Concrete, stone, block and brick. I'm trying to get more tile work these days, cause it's usually inside and tiles are a lot lighter.

Before I retired, I was a Union Millwright and a president of a Carpenters Union. So I have had experience in the field, but I have to tell you, I never envied you guys. Slingin' wrenches looked a lot easier to me!
