I normally drive an 89 f250. Gas sucks so my parents bought a focus. So the explorer is now mine. Ill never sell the f250 but when im low on cash ill drive the explorer.
First thing: The drivers side door doesnt unlock when you hit the unlock button, and the rear main door doesnt open at as of a couple weeks ago.
What needs to be done or bought to fix this? parts, links, anything helps.
Its a four door with a 4.0 v6. Should i just leave it stock? I have problems not mesing with stuff to make it have more power. So convince me to leave it stock or tell me something cool i can do.
For now i want to figure out the door situation, I have never dealt with anything with automatic locks/windows.
Thanks in advance.
Hope this section is as great as the 87-96 sct.
to test the door locks you need to remove the door panel. back prope the door lock actuator. hit the lock button and see if you have 12v to lock and -12 to unlock. if you do, then the actuator is bad. if you don't then you have a wiring problem. if you got this exploder to save on gas then you should just leave it alone. put your money in the truck.
