Looking Forward...
Hi, I have just entered into my first restoration attempt. Wish me luck! I have a 1953 F250 and a 1950 F1... I have decided to work the F1 first. I have ordered some parts and a couple of books to get me started... waiting for the deliveries. Soo.... until then... please take my lack of experience in stride... and throw the new guy a few tips from time to time 
. That said... here is my first question... where do I find the VIN on my 1950 F1? I have the serial # 98RC322598 from the previous owners registration... but I thought a VIN had to have 17(+) characters.... Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated! Thanks ahead of time.
