What the...?

Hate to be a little ignorant about this but why was my thread advertising my turbo deleted without a words notice? Just asking because I have forgotten how to get in touch with the moderators. Thanks.

Probably because it's against the rules to post for sale ads in the forums...it may have been moved to the classifieds, I dunno.

I did it.

I was running late last night, and forgot to send you a PM.

Please use the classified section for items for sale.
The guidelines do not allow for sale in the regular forums.

I am sorry I forgot the private message to inform you what happened.
Although it is not usually a problem here in this forum, from what I hear it is a big problem in a couple of the others.

If you list the for sale item in the classifieds, I don't have a problem with you putting a link to the classified add in your signature.

Ah alright, I completely forgot about that. Its been quite some times since I browsed the forums last. Wasn't even thinking, just kinda threw it together. Landlord is really stressing me about the parts I have all around lol. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll go ahead and put an add up.

Just had to say: BY AND LARGE everyone sure does get along well on here, I see, and maybe been involved in, a LITTLE spat on here once in a while but they usually get resolved peacefully by everyone involved after a few posts back and forth.
I give Dave S. a lot of the credit, he lets us "get away" with a little and gives us enough rope to NOT hang ourselves. It's nice to see a bunch of people conversing that can act responsibly, intelligently and maturely. There's some pretty young guys on here to, you can tell by their writing style, some of them even state their age in their sighn-offs. They give the older guys the repect they deserve and they, in turn show it back to the "young whipper-snappers" no "dumb kid" comments. Well serious ones anyway.

I'm glad, and proud, to call you all friends!

Even if you are a bunch of FORD freaks!

You old dodge loving geezer!
Just givin you a hard time.

Yeah I've noticed every one gets along better down hear compared to Up top where people freak out just because some ones display name is Dodge/Cummins. Or you sugest a diesel gats better millage then a v-10 gasser. People seem to be more open minded here. And Dave S. Does a excelent job of moderating this forum.

The funny thing is, If the IDI was never installed in the 83 Ford, there probably would not have been a Cummins/Dodge or a Chevy Duramax or even a Power Stroke.

Anyone can say anything they want to, but the IDI is the reason there are diesel pickups today.

I look at this forum as an extended family.
I know that if any of us were in the area where another member here lives and had problems, that if we could contact the member that they would help as much as they could.

I am constantly amazed at how many countries and states have users here, and we all get along and try to help others as much as we can.

I am proud of our group, you all make my job here easy.

Yes I roll with the flow on some things, but there are a few things I do have to toe the line on.

Selling and personal attacks on other users, they have to go as soon as I see them.

A bit off topic, well that is how conversations usually go.

A bit of ribbing someone, I can even handle that usually, but I also have to consider what a new user that saw a post on the first visit to the forum might think.

And I also have to try and think what a person from another country might think as well.

Everyone here does a rather good job keeping the four letter words and hateful posts out of the forum, and I thank you for that.

Sometimes I wonder why I spend so much time doing this assignment, but I would miss you guys if I didn't.
Yeah, I am brand and engine loyal, to a fault.
But that makes me who I am and do what I do.

My thanks to everyone here for making this forum what it is.
And I hope we have many more good times here.
Posting is up a lot from what it was a couple years ago, I have faith it will continue to grow.

You gotta be dedicated to do it everyday.
I was sick for a couple of weeks and I only got on about once a week, I just didn't feel like doing anything I didn't absolutely HAVE to do. I guess that sounds like you guys come low on the totem pole but I missed ya.
I think most of us deranged regulars get more out of helping others and the conversation that doesn't have much to do with trucks.
I usually look for something I can help people with that I have experience with and a lot of times it is Cummins based, as that's my background, but they are both diesels after all and a lot of info., techniques and tech. interchanges.

I was thinking more along the lines of Popeye and spinich...smart ___! LOL!

You got that right! But we need those gas burners out there burning the byproduct of refining diesel!

Actually I was sent here to monitor You Guys by the Underground Mopar Alliance.
You probably know us as U.M.A.
For the right price, or 8 gallons of diesel, I could become a double agent!
You had better hurry and pay me in diesel before the price goes so high that I won't except cash or our usual currency of uncut diamonds.

Oh by the way don't tell anybody, keep this on the down low, I don't want them to take away my seccret decoder ring!

I'm not giving up any of my diesel. The way I figure it, if I just lay low, the two full tanks I got right now should be just enough so I can retire in a few years.
