Chevy Suburban Question

I've got a friend who has a pretty nice 1979 c-20 suburban with a 454. The thing is losing power on a load, and is leaking oil. I took a look at it with him, and it looks like its spewing oil from the air injection lines that run into the exhaust manifold on the passanger side. I assume this isn't normal, any ideas why it would do that, and how can we fix it? I'm not too familiar with GM stuff, or the 70's emission junk either. Thanks

how's the compression and how do the plugs look. It sounds like you have a LOT of oil getting into one or more cylinders.

I suspect that with a compression check you might find a dead cylinder

Oil from the air injection lines...

IF the airpump pulls air out of the air cleaner housing and you have pcv troubles, it could be pulling oil that way.

What's it look like in the aircleaner/carb (efi intake?) area?
