Hi all, I have a 2002 super crew, with the driver's side rear brake light out, and I am not handy at all. Does anyone have any advice on how hard it is to change these, or how to do it? This is something that I would normally just pay the dealership to do, am I being foolish? Or is this a really simple task, that even I could do?
When you lower your tailgate you should see two screws. Take those out and the taillight housing should come right out. The bulb socket just twists to unlock and come out. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Thanks in advance for your advice
Instructions are in your owner's manual. Please refer to it for directions.
Also after removing the 2 screws, you pull it straight out, BUT it pulls out very hard. There is 2 plastic guides that go through rubber gromets. It does come out hard. Also welcome to FTE. You may have already done it by now. Sorry I'm late.
Thank you, to those of you who tried to help me. Your help has been appreciated. I went outside today, after not reading my manual...lol, and the bulb seems to be working today. I guess I will keep a close eye on it...thank you again for your help, as manuals do not really depict difficulty
