the guessing game...

I have a line that comes out of my E4OD trans (95 F250HD). I'm guessing there is a vacuum diaphram thats suppose to go there. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Nope, the E40D has no vacuum lines, are you looking at the breather tube?

Different model tranny perhaps?

no vacuum line on e4od anyway.

I didn't see your picture the first time, no picture loaded for me for some reason.

I see the open end of a line in the picture by the 4x4 shifter but what is the other end connected to?

Taking a good look at the picture and a guess based on that. It looks like the vent tube for the transfer case.

Connects just above where the linkage rod connects on the T case?
