HPX Install Goofiness

Got the HPX from Dieselsite. The instructions state to remove the plugs from the third port back on each side. Turns out to be just behind the turbo.

Other vendors say to remove #5 & #6 (front of turbo)with no indication as to what to do with the lines ALREADY on 5 & 6 (lines from the pump).

Another member said to move the above mentioned lines to #3 & #4 (or something like that).

Best solution?

Got it! Took about 30 minutes, didn't remove any hoses.
The bottom nut (boss?) is a 5/8 and don't know what the top is. I went through every SAE wrench I have, no metric that size. So I guess it's a metric between 9/16 & 5/8.
Had to use daggone channel locks!
Blood loss, one drop on knuckle when 5/8 slipped off.

Thanks ya'll!!!

Ok, did a little road work. Outside air temp 98.9 degrees.
Before I launched, I ran it up to 1500, then 1750 rpm for about a minute, then idle again. Checked for leaks. Then did about 4 miles to the interstate where I ran about 60 mph for 5 minutes. Had to go pick up the upper hose that goes around the serpentine.
Back home again and checked for leaks. None, good to go.
I'll check again after maybe 100 miles.

Noticed no roughness at all, purred as it did before.
I did however, perceive it to be quieter at highway speed.
Maybe it's just me after reading other's replies but it SEEMS quieter at 60 mph.
No difference noticed in sound around town. Seems to run smoother though.

I'll replace it in 1 year with the SS line.
Oops, I thought this one was, but alas, t'aint so.

Really appreciate the ultra fast help from yous guyz!
