6x8 speakers

i have a 99 ranger super cab and for my birthday this year(only 20 days away!!!)...im gettin some new 6x8 speakers. i have the factory radio/cd player still in it and i was wondering how good of bass i should expect from the 4 6x8's with the factory unit???

Not good enough. I just put 2 pairs of Triax 400W Sony speakers and are conected to stock unit. I got some little improvements in sound but not as desired. I´ll change my unit for a Pioneer or Alpine.

u wont get much if any improvement, althought it'llbe cleaner and less "tinny" sounding. to get full advantage ud have to get a new HU and an amp to get maxamium sound quality.
