You guys are awsome. I spent the day in the garage with all the replies from this forum. Everyone I used worked out great. I now have 4x4, Airbag light is off, tomorrow I'm going to try the power lock fix. Thanks Everyone. One more thing, any suggestions on finding vacuum leak for auto lock hubs. I'm not very good at diagnostics. Can fix anything just can't figure out what needs to be fixed.
most common place to start is at the wheels and work your way back to the pump...turn key on so the vac pump can be heard but not start the truck..listen for air...or you can use a air hose and blow into the lines and listen for leaks...use low air PSI..dont want to blow the seals in the hubs...
I tried the heater idea and didn't notice it going to dfrost. The auto hubs just don't work. They lock in manually but not auto.
Also where is the solenoid located.
