Trying doesn't work

Ive tried to sell this truck that i have and nobody wants it. i live in texas and ac is important and of course mine dosent work, is there any way of finding a leak in the system without going to a shop? i know its not the condenser but i couldn't tell you about the rest. btw its a 1990 2.9L 4x2 104,700k, im asking $2,000 for it but i want to fix this ac! maybe it will sell. Thanks

With the miles you have on it its just nicely broken in. Why not fix the AC and keep it. The body looks to be in great condition.

I recenlty replaced condenser on my 2.3 ranger 92 and it cools better then ever! Think i got it from rockauto.com for like 80 bucks. FLush lines and evaporator with lots of solvent and clean compressed air. Recharge and BINGO. You can rent a ac vacuum pump at auto zone for 200 maybe 300 bucks but you get the money back when you return it. You have to buy the conversion kit for r134 for like 35 bucks and it comes with all parts and refrigerant. Pull the vacuum then listen for leaks, take off the grill and radiator shroud and radiator and you should easily be able to find leaks. COuld be an one of the 2 o-ring connections near the top. PM me if you have any more questions.

Gluck
