I know this has been touched on but I am wondering if anyone has added an afternarket CD changer to their ride. I have a 2000 F150 and would really like to do this with out spending the $80.00 for the harness but do not want the FM modulated system. Anyone out there found a way to wire it a different way. I do want to keep the OEM head unit.
I know that Crutchfield has CD changers for ford and they hook directly to the factory radio. Their website is www.crutchfield.com or you can call them at 1-800-955-3000. Hope this helps
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 21-Aug-02 AT 03:52 PM (EST)]Do you have anyhting against the Ford Factory CD changers? Most I think are made by Clarion. If not you can probably buy one on ebay.
