Storage/turbo
My situation is that my truck ('06, 25,000 miles) is a weekend only toy hauler (boat, trailered rockcrawler). It sits all week. Sometimes there are periods that my wife and I don't make it out to the cabin where we keep it for a month. It is kept in an unheated garage, in the winter it gets pretty cold.
For now all I've been doing is making sure the tank is full and hooking up a good trickle charger. Anything else I should be doing? Should I add an engine block heater in the winter?
These trucks like to be driven. I am in the same boat as you. I have a company truck so I have only put 300 or so miles on mine since the 1st. of the year. I drive it once a week and now that summer is here I will use it more to tow the 5er with but in the winter she sits alot. Fortunately for me I keep it in a heated garage.
Good Luck

I also have a company vehicle(thank God)! I purchased my truck in the fall of 06. In the fall of 07 I had appox., 10,000 miles on the truck when the turbo vanes stuck. Not sure if I did not drive it enough or if lot rot at the dealership also played a role. I still don't drive it all that often, but I did switch to synthetic Rotella 5w40 and going with a half dose of Hot Shot at my 15,000 mile oil change for preventative maintanence. I will find out this fall when I head to North Dakota to bowhunt if my turbo is in good shape. My fingers are crossed!!
