You win a cookie.

If you have a chip that plugs into your PCM and it is loose it will cause the PCM to reset which will cause the engine to stall. It could possibly reset the entire electrical memory, thus clearing your radio clock.

Weak batteries won't ususally cause the truck to stall, but a loose connection somewhere (grounds, alternator, or chip) could cause the stall.

That's usually the sign of an oil issue, but would have no affect on the electrical system. Are there any other symptoms you can give us? What do the lights on your dash do when it stalls? Do any of them act differently? If you turn on your headlights, do they go out when the motor stalls? And just to make sure it's not some weird problem, do you lose your radio presets also, or just the time?

What would you say the problem was if the clock didn't reset.I have a remote start and I pulled the fuses for it to make sure it wasn't doing it and the clock didn't reset but the problem is still there.

Have you checked the oil, if it's good then check the oil in the HPOP.

Would the LPOP have anything to do with these symtoms?

More information is always good. Check the remote start wiring to make sure one of the wires or connections hasn't chaffed against metal and is grounding out.

If there were no electrical issues, I would ask does it do this every time you start it when the engine has set for several hours. I would advise you to check the oil level in the engine and ask how old the oil is and what type and grade of oil you're running. I would also ask you to check the oil level in the HPOP reservoir and see if it was within 1" of the top before you tried to start.

When you start the truck the HPOP pulls oil from the left side oil gallery. Once the truck starts it pulls oil from the HPOP reservoir. If the reservoir is low it can cause it to stall. Since the fuel injectors are fired off of high pressure oil this is kind of important.

You can check the HPOP reservoir by removing this plug

Edit: Dang I'm slow tonight.

Thanks for the pic Chris I was looking for something like that to respond with. Nice response too, I tend to be short winded. I am going to rep ya if I can.

Edit: Of course I have to spread the joy
