Finally got some tires. Decided to go with the Cooper Discoverer ST, just got them on today. So far I'm liking them. Just hope I get more miles out of them than the Nitto Terra Crapplers! Been in the process of getting the windows tinted. Had a few problems with the tinting place. To start with, to cover up their screwups around the screws and latches on the side glasses they put tint on the outside of the windows! How GHETTO is that? After quite a few colorful(not ones I would want my mother to hear) words with the owner and having them redo the backglass because of all the trash i've gotta go elsewhere to have the side glasses done. They did give me the money back on them. Also ordered a new grill for it. Will post pics once I get it installed. Its still in the mail! Gonna be installing some extra backup lights. Anybody got any good tips or some photos of how theirs is mounted?
Sounds like a fun little venture Lee, I am going to go with some Toyo's as my next set of tires hopefully. What kind of grill did you get a standard billet?
I am with you on the back up light deal I have bought some just haven't seen any good wire ups, I as going to run them to the battery's and then run a switch to the cab.
My dad has the Coopers on his 1500 dodge ram. They ride really nice and are good offroad but so far they are melting like butter. I suspect its the 20" rims and the large amount of towing the truck does. i have a feeling they would hold up much better if they where on my 16" Rim
I was going to go with the coopers or the uniroyals that papadelogan sugested , just got a great deal on the yoko,s though. As for tint, it,s hard finding a good installer thats miticulas about their work. These trucks look great with the billet grills. Back up lights, bump.
See the girls on here are good for something LOL I am trying to talk the hubby into doing these lights. I would have to be able to have them on a switch so I could flip them on when someone rides my azz on the highway.

Wow I never had such a thought. You know that I hold you in the highest
reguard!!!
a little variation on the Bear Hunter setup(great post BTW)...switch in cab only...in line fuse...same lights with out bulb upgrade, works great...still working on my 5 gang switch set up so switch just hangin over fuse cover...will post when complete
I seen a while back a FTE member had them on each side of the hitch mount bar. Where you put the tow hitch right on each side like it was molded in, looked great, like it was customized. And yes, people that ride you to close, that anoyes me to no end. Hook some emergency strobes to your truck and hit them, they'll back off real quick. Hey jim, looks like your gonna get your 1000 post tonite, congrats on the milestone. Reps when i can.
i put them on my hitch mount. here is a short clip of what they look like, looks like the light is shining on the ground too much but i have an inclined driveway. they work very good and are really bright. i'll remember to get daytime pics. of where they are mounted. Thats what the DP and 140 smoke tune is for. I used to have an s10 4x4 back in the 80's that I had a roll bar with 4 100,00candle power lights facing forward for mudding, and one facing backwards, for tools that would tailgate me. Nothing like downshifting, letting out the clutch and throwing the switch for the backwards facing light, all simultaneously, to get someone off your rear bumber.
Glenn: there was sumpin about my stinger depth interfereing with that set up...can't remember exactly...cuz I really like that set up...also hook/un -hook alot and thought they would get damaged quickly....
