ac install factory
was checking out gary pettengells ford shortbed nice truck. I would like to install factory ac have all parts template for the firewall. where can I get a wire harness for factory ac have now ford hang on ac but would like to switch over to factory ac. I have a 1977 ford shortbed. any help would be greatly appreciated this forum rocks. thanks joe

You should be able to find the wiring at a wrecking yard. There were several in the local yard the last time I was out there.
Why are you replacing the Ford hang on AC? Does it work well? I have been thinking of adding one to my truck since the unit mounts behind the dash. I had to remove the factory AC from my truck to make room for the Cummins that now calls my truck home.

well jim to be honest it works well. but i have all the parts and i think the factory ac works better bigger evaparator. I was wondering if you could get the name of that salvage yard you were telling about. thanks joe.
