Passenger Window
Power windows...
I have a window in the down position... Won't go up and it's raining... I have it tarped and I just hope that I don't have to use the vehicle before it stops...(Raining that is)
Went to look at it and would like to know the best way to get the door panel off...
Any other suggestions welcomed...
TIA

Next, pop the little reflector looking panel off. Underneath it you will find a fastner with an 8mm head. Remove this. Take note if there is a light as well because if so, you will have to twist it out from the rear when you loosen the panel.
Pop the panel in the front portion of the armrest off. This will be the portion of the armrest that contains the switch(s). Remove it by gently prying it up from the edge of the rest closest to the seat. Underneath this panel you will see another 8mm fastner. Remove this fastner as well. You will also need to remove the plug from the bottom of the window/lock switch assembly.
The panel is now free. Gently, but firmly lift straight UP, not OUT, on the panel until it clears the manual lock button. Make sure the light bulb in the bottom of the panel is twisted out.
Voila, it is done.
Now, before you go through all that, try pluging/unpluging the harness connector in the switch on the door, as well as the one on the master panel in the drivers door. It is best to make sure it is not something simple first like a loose connection. Next, try the connections on the motor harness plug.

Are these harness connectors accessible without having to go into the door?
