Definitely, I'm having problems with lots of other stuff and really need money but there is no way in hell I am going to sell my truck. Sad to say, I have actaully contemplated the idea...but once I think about it more than a minute...I just cannot fathom NOT having her in my driveway. No matter if I'm driving her or not.

So, yes I would reconsider not selling it. If you dont need the money from selling it, whats the rush to restore it? I know it will be many years before I will be able to restore mine the way I want. You talk about not having the money for it...I dont even have a job right now! I believe this is why we call them "projects".

Of course this is just my two cents, take it or leave it.

Until you have to do taxes. I would have gotten $3k+ if I were single, but simply because I am married I had to pay $1200. My wife would have gotten $1800 back if she were single. How did the govt take almost $5000 and charge us $1200 more? That is why I hate the govt., just a bunch of parasites living off the hard work of the sheeple of america.

I'll leave it with you, you'll need it seeing as you don't have a job.

If you need a custom made hose, tractor supply/repair places should be able to set you up. I think you have Western States Cat up there, you might contact them and see if they can point you in the right direction. You might try a John Deere repair place too. If you need a stock replacement, NAPA usually can get the part you need.

For sale

I have a big block(460) C6 and a New Process gear 208 transfer case. Units were pulled from a 1985 F-250 4x4 Heavy Duty. Both have 123k original miles and were in good working condition when removed a couple weeks ago. The transmission had a new filter, modulator, and reverse/neutral safety switch installed within the last 13k miles. The transmission will need a new pan gasket as I removed the pan to drain the fluid and most likely a rear output seal as there was fluid in the coupling between the tranny and t-case. The tranny is really dirty due to lots of oil leakage from the motor. I have converted my truck to a manual 5spd and a newer t-case, otherwise everything worked fine. I would like to sell them together, but will separate, $100 each O.B.O. I even have the A/C condenser from the truck that I was using as a tranny cooler that I will throw in if you want. You wont find a bigger cooler at your auto parts store. Send me a PM if interested.

Selling my Bronco

Well, it's come to this. I guess I need to sell the Bronco. I don't really want to but the mileage and gas prices are making it just to much to handle.
Somewhat fresh rebuilt 5.0L (15,000 miles) and a re-man'd AOD tranny both installed in February. It has some cancer but not too serious. She ain't pretty but she is as tough as nails. 3" body lift, 33" Goodyear Wranglers (8 months old), soft top goes with it. I have a set of slider windows for it also but no window seals, a Rancho 4" suspension lift goes with it and whatever other parts I have stockpiled around that I won't need. $3,000.00 obo

pics are in my gallery.
