Did Ford ever offer an air bag suspension for the f250ld, just curious because mine has died and it was on the truck when I bought it.

My memory says that it was a factory option on the F250LD. I've also seen it as an after market add on for any model.

I looked up my 97 brochure and it lists a "load leveling suspension" as an option for the F-250LD. I also now recall that the Haynes manual is filled with repetitions of the instructions to "disconnect the air bag system if your truck is so equipped" before performing maintenance where the frame could fall on you. So, yes, it was a factory option.
