Fluid Change ??
Have a 2001 F150 4X4 with 5.4l that has about 150,000 miles.
I am thinking that I will change out the fluids in the next few weeks as I have not touched them except the oil.
So, looking into this I found what look like good instructions for the transmission, engine coolant, and transfer case (okay was a power stroke).
The manual and dipstick for the transmission say Mercon V.
Reference to the power steering in the manual says Mercon.
My question is can I add Mercon V to top off the power steering level? I don't think I will change that one, and it is currently reading at the bottom of the normal area.
