Ac Does not work after car wash
Hi all, kind of new to the Excursion side of things, just traded my 98 Expedition for a 02 Excursion. My question is, when I take the truck through a car wash or it sits out in the rain the outside temp reading is way off(-40 F) and the air conditioning dous not work. Both issues clear up once the truck dries out good. Any thoughts?, Thanks.

Sounds like you might have a leak in the front windshield. I had this after mine was replaced. It ended up being bad glue.
It would leak down the A-pillar and work it's way across the dash on the main cross member. Mine would short out the alarm when it rained and either the air wouldn't work or the heater would stay on after the key was out.
