broken leaf spring
when i was doing the brakes on my 89 e250 i noticed a broken leaf and wierd tire wear on the back tires probably from dog tracking...anyhow i have found e250 and e350 springs from the junkyard...the spring codes are different but they look exactly the same and number of leaves (6)...the spring code for the e250 (n) has a rear capacity of 5300 while the e350 (j) is 6084...i am thinking because the e350 has a full floating axle and bigger brakes the capacity is more but the springs are the same...does anyone know if this is the case?

i know early superduty pickups used the same springs between the f250 and f350 but used a block between the axle and spring to give it some lift...turns out both sides had broken leafs
