2001 Front Suspension Problems
Hi everyone! I'm new here and I hope I can get some help and or advice? I have a 2001, F350, SD,CC,LB,DRW,4X4,7.3L,Auto. I have had the truck since 11/04 and I love it. I am having one re-occuring problem. I have had to replace the front wheel bearing hub assemblies 3 times since I purchased the truck. Twice on the right side and once on the left plus I replaced the ball joints once along with new tires each time I did the hubs. I'm taking a real beating here and this is beyond believing that this is normal? The right one only lasted 15K miles the second time. Now I am afraid that they are gone again. I always purchased the hubs at the dealer but had different mech's do the work each time thinking they where the problem. I was wrong! Has anyone else had a problem with these hubs wearing out prematurely? Is there something I can do to stop this from happening? Please help me, my wallet can't take the strain again!
