i like ur truck thats nice.did u rivet the fenders to the hood or is it all fiberglass?
mwvdub guy that truck is sick.how much did it cost u overall to finish it?what motor is in there?
Got about 12k in it since August. Had the paint done about 4 years ago and it is getting a bit rough. Hoping to paint it all black next winter. Did a total suspension overhaul, new interior with cage, new trans and motor over the winter. Should make around 700 horse. it is basically the ford 513 crate motor with a lot bigger cam and kaase p51's.
perky, i really like what you have done. I have a soft spot for turbo diesels.
I welded it togethermade a frame for the front tohold it all together when I flip the switch to open it up.I don't like manul labor HAHA

thanks I like the color sceem of yours I made a 514 stroker motor back in the late 80s
Used 460 block .60 over ford pistons, had the crank ofset ground used Buick 455 rods had the restpin side bored out to fit the 460 ristpins.with the balanceing and all the parts and michineing I had alittle over $1100.00 I did most of the work my self.Hotrod mag had a article on budjet stroker motors Smoke all 4 tires on my 78 bronco the drive shaft don't like that much.
I've done it but have since sold the truck. I may have some pics left. You will have to make your own way to fasten the tilt to the truck: hood pins, latch assembly, etc. You may also have to fabricate your own hinge assemblies. These fiberglass tilts do not just bolt up. There is a good amount of fabricating that must be done and a lot of finish body work to make it look good. Be ready for a large project.
I did mine myself I use air to apporate the Bamba air cyclinders for up and down.I don't have $200.00 in the tilt clip.I,m a scronger I go to scrapyard just to shop that how I got the air cyl,the guy gave them to me.
US Body makes alot of stuff for these trucks in standard weight, and in lighter weight for racing. I have their fron and rear fenders and doors on a 76. They also have pretty good tech support.
